The GCC “Biloxi” Adult Work Camp committee, announces plans for their next trip to Appalachia this spring.  The committee has selected H.O.M.E.S. in Neon, Kentucky to provide home repair, light maintenance and related support to the elderly poor.  They are located in southeast Kentucky, about 10 hours drive from Chicago.  The dates are April 26 – May 3. We are looking for adults who would like to join our group to be part of this unique opportunity to serve others. 

The plan is to drive to Lexington, KY on Saturday, April 26, spend the night in a hotel and then drive to Neon, KY.  We will be living in a dormitory with separate buildings for dining and showers.  The projects are diverse enough to meet the skill level of almost anyone willing to work.
