Glenview Community Church has had a Registered Nurse, with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing, on staff since 1986.

GCC was one of the original congregations to partner with Lutheran General Hospital to create the Parish Nurse Program which links the ancient traditions of healing, the biblical concepts of wholeness, and our modern scientific understanding of health and wellness.

Marilyn Belleau has been the Parish Nurse for this congregation since the beginning of the program and continues to serve us with humor, encouragement and grace. The Parish Nurse facilitates this healing mission by serving in the following roles:

1. Health Educator – through classes and support groups
2. Personal Health Counselor
3. Resource and Referral Agent
4. Coordinator of Volunteers
5. Health Advocate

She has led the Pastoral Care Board in creating innovative health and healing ministries.
