GCC Nursery School
Since 1947, Glenview Community Church Nursery School (GCCNS) has been a non-sectarian early childhood outreach to the wider Glenview Community and its neighboring villages.
Boy Scout Troop 156
Based at Glenview Community Church, Troop & Crew 156 has served its community for more than 50 years. As one of the largest and most active Boy Scout unites in the Northeast Illinois, T-156 has a proud tradition of excellence.
Our Church's Wider Mission
Our Church’s Wider Mission is the name we use to describe the outreach we participate in as a part of the United Church of Christ beyond the local church: through our Conferences, national ministries, and UCC-related institutions. Our Church’s Wider Mission is also the name we give to the financial support given by UCC members and congregations that makes this broader mission possible. As GCC reaches out into its own community, it is a representative of the entire denomination and embodies the UCC in Glenview and beyond.
A Restoration Church
A Restoration Church is an independent church that meets for worship in the GCC Community Room on Sunday mornings at 11:00AM. A Restoration Church exists for people who are pursuing the way of Jesus and who have more questions than answers. It is a place for those who may be wrestling with their faith and seek a safe place to explore. For those who have experienced church hurt, it is a space to heal. A Restoration Church believes the message of Jesus is liberating and restorative, and is marked by sacrificial love, radical hospitality, and generous service.
