Musical Ensembles
The goal of our music ministry is to provide music which supports the scriptural and seasonal themes of our worship services while providing opportunities for people to offer their talents to glorify God and inspire others through music.

This completely volunteer choir also participates in Christmas Eve and special Holy Week services. Children’s Choirs
Katelyn Ornduff, Director
Voices of GCC
This choir is for singers in grades 3–8 with weekly rehearsals 11:15am–12:30pm on Sundays. We rehearse September through May in Room 201. Voices of GCC sings for Sunday worship about once a month as well as for the Christmas Pageant and the 4:30 service on Christmas Eve. Each year we prepare a musical worship service in the spring.
Joyful Ringers
Gary Wendt, Director
The handbell choir of GCC is directed by Gary Wendt and was founded in 1985 by Norreen Klemens. Our current ensemble has grown to five octaves. We ring Schulmerich handbells and five octaves of Malmark handchimes. This choir plays for worship once per month and on Christmas Eve. Annual concerts and workshops are also part of our schedule, which occasionally require additional rehearsal time. Membership is limited to fifteen members, but substitute ringers are always welcome!
Instrumental Music
Glenview Community Church is blessed with many professional musicians. Coordinated by Gary Wendt, worship services include instrumental solos and ensembles in the preludes, postludes, and as accompaniment for the choirs.
Summer Music in Worship
We are fortunate to have such tremendous musical talents within our own congregation! Summer music consists of various solos and ensembles, both vocal and instrumental, from within our ranks of volunteer musicians. Do you sing? Play an instrument? Willing to share your talents with us? We would love to hear from you!
